DGSP is a draft protocol (RFC-DGSP-001) for keeping a swarm of drones or robots on a safe mission when parts of it fail or lose contact. It’s meant for civilian work: search and rescue, inspection, environmental monitoring.

The design principles are short: no single point of failure, distributed governance, safety first, and graceful degradation. It’s layered into safety, coordination, governance and audit, and coordinates through gossip state sync and lease-based coordination.

The repository has a Python implementation with a simulator, a dashboard, and swarm configurations for different missions: dense cells, fast response, low-power survival, standard reconnaissance and relay-heavy setups.
